Office Style - Chic and in Control

In the office, you always want to appear chic and in control. The big question for most of us is how to accomplish that while still being fashionable. You always want to be office appropriate but not dated. Appearing as if you are behind the times can cause people to perceive that your skills are outmoded as well. So in today's set, I wanted to style an outfit that would help with that dilemma. Nothing is more classic and chic than a bow blouse. It is always office-appropriate as long as it is not sheer. I paired this Andrew Gn silk blouse with a pleated Alice + Olivia skirt. If you work in a creative field this leather skirt is perfect, but if you work in a more traditional office a pleated skirt in a more subdued fabric would be a great substitute. I complimented the look with comfortable and stylish flats from H&M. I always have to add a pop of color, so I finished the ensemble off with a striped barrel bag with touches of orange from Henri Bendel. With this outfit, you are ready to excel in style.
