Be Always Blooming - OOTD

"The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all." - Quote from the movie Mulan
This is the type of outfit that I like to describe as "prettily rugged". It has a girly romantic tone mixed with some boyish elements. Plus, a great statement bag and shoes will always be the perfect finishing touches.

Ever since I saw these Burberry Prorsum Hand-Painted Leather Peep Toe Booties I have been lusting after them. They are so girly with an artistic edge, and I'm loving them!

My 5 Faves From the Lisa Perry Resort 2015 Collection

Designer Lisa Perry's muse for her Resort 2015 Collection was style icon Francoise Hardy. Perry was inspired by Hardy's chic, cool, casual tomboy vibe. So for this collection she presented a lot more separates instead of her usual A-line shifts. Even though she veered slightly from her usual aesthetic this collection still had a lot of the Lisa Perry charm that I have come to adore.

Coastal Entertaining

Embellish your decor and illuminate your space with a coastal theme. A coastal style is effortless and fits well in a contemporary and a traditional setting. This decorating style works all year round, and after a hard day of dealing with daily demands you can come home and exhale surrounded by tranquil beauty.

13 Different Ways To Rock Bangs

Okay, I must admit, I have always been obsessed with bangs. I have never had a hair cut or rocked a hairstyle without them. I have tried them in many different variations except micro-bangs ( most of the time micro-bangs only tend to look good on toddlers). Bangs are usually cut straight at or above the eyebrows, but they can also be ragged or ruffled, spiked up with hair gel, swept to one side or the other, or cut longer to fall over the eyes.

My Faves From the Erin Fetherston Resort 2015 Collection

Fashion designer Erin Fetherston was inspired by botanical prints from the New York Public Library for her Resort 2015 Collection. To create her prints she bought flowers at the local market and photographed them. The floral prints fit right in with her feminine design aesthetic. My favorite pieces from her collection were her wide array of dresses that can take you from a casual day to a romantic evening.

Orange Is The Happiest Color

Whenever I wear the color orange it lifts my spirits, and I love to wear it during the summer months. It just gives off a carefree and fun vibe. I found this cute Black Five Short-sleeved Pleated Orange Pullover Dress, and the best thing about it is that it's only $28.99! I paired it with sandals from Espirit, a Tory Burch Stripe handbag, and H&M sunglasses.

I have really been into printed pants this season. I have been on a search for a great pair that would work with curves and still be flattering. The key with all pants especially if you have curvy hips or butt is to make sure that the pants do not have side pockets. That ensures that the fabric lays flat and does not add any additional bulk in that area. A slimming cut and a high-waist will hug, and showcase your curves in the most beautiful way.

My 9 Faves From the Rachel Zoe Resort 2015 Collection

For her Resort 2015 Collection designer, Rachel Zoe presented her usual take on seventies bohemia but with an urban twist. This collection was a bit more modern and accessible. This time around she wasn't just designing for a Southern Californian girl. You could actually imagine her pieces working on a variety of different women. I was really digging her leather jackets and her use of abstract prints. Some of my favorite items were her dresses with the chain detailing around the neck that is perfect for a summer night.

A Weekend Adventure

I love a great weekend adventure. Especially the kind that takes place right where you live. The perfect stay-cation.You get to rediscover the beauty of your city, see your favorite haunts through new eyes, or savor the delights you never knew existed. Why spend that special time of getting reacquainted with your city in dumpy clothing? You don't have to save your cute summer gear for vacations out of town or an exotic locale. Go ahead and wear it now. Break out those cute sunglasses, your camera, and comfortable yet chic flats to commemorate your appreciation for the city that you call home.

Gentlemen's Sport - My Faves From The Hackett London Summer 2015 Collection

The Hackett London Spring / Summer 2015 Collection pays homage to the great sporting events of the British summer calendar and puts the stylish male spectator center stage. Encapsulating the thrill of the race, the energy of the game and the injection of adrenaline, cashmere and silk knitwear in fine gauges give the Hackett man a slim silhouette while offering him the ability to remain active and in control.
