Bohemian Romance

I was recently asked if the bohemian trend could work during the winter months. My answer of course was a resounding yes. I prefer a darker take on the trend. Like this gorgeous maxi dress. This sexy dress is sheer at the legs and arms so you can see the details of the exquisite lace. Pair this lovely dress with suede ankle boots for an effortless day-to-evening look. The pull-on style will give your look an instant winter ready update. I added a black cross body bag that is big enough to store your essentials in effortless style. The perfect finishing touches was a stylish Panama hat and a beautiful silk crystal cuff.

  1. Another good selection LaToya. I rather like the backless design on this dress...

  2. I have always been a huge fan of the boho chic look but couldn't pull it off myself. I love the dress you featured here, Toya, it's something that I could easily pull off.

  3. I love bohemian style. In my twenties I interpreted it very literally. I probably looked like I was going to costume party. Now my boho style is much more subtle. I would totally wear this look. The monochromatic palette keeps it from feeling costume-y and the dress is a very modern take on the trend. Love it!

    1. Lol, I was the same way in my twenties as well. I love retro style but now that I look back I probably looked more like an extra from a movie.

  5. Like Shireen, I love the bohemian look, but I don't think I can pull it off, however, the dress that you featured here might be a good fit for me. I love the black lace over black dress. I'm not sure if I would wear it in winter though! BRRR
