Roses Must Fade Before They Can Bloom Again

It is summer and everything is in full bloom and today's set celebrates that feeling. Roses are widely known for their beauty and so should you as well. Summer always makes me feel awakened, renewed and rejuvenated. Usually, when people see a rose print it conjures up images of something extra girly and feminine. This outfit of the day showcases how to rock the print in a relaxed manner.

I've Got The Blues

It's the weekend and I created a cute and stylish outfit to kick it in. This look hits on a couple of trends such as patchwork denim ( jeans) and a tribal print (clutch). So you will look on point while running your errands or just relaxing. I included a lightweight jacket just in case it gets a bit chilly in overly air-conditioned spaces. Overall this look is effortless, cool, laid-back, and luxe.

Sleek Silhouettes

I have a confession to make. I used to hate jumpsuits. In theory, they were great. Come on who wouldn't love the ease and sophistication of one, but in reality, a lot of them were not cut for the average woman and fit poorly. It took me a long time to come around but the latest offerings have me convinced that I was wrong. They are better designed and you have a variety of designs to choose from for all body types. The jumpsuit does day-to-night better than any dress - especially this one from Oasis with a cool monochrome print, black shoulder stripe and dramatic back drape (you've got to love a grand exit). Now if only I can come to terms with having to almost get fully undressed to go to the bathroom.

My 12 Favorite Round Sunglasses For Summer 2015

I am really digging round sunglasses right now. Rounded frames provide a groovy update for your wardrobe. They have an eclectic retro-inspired charm that I can not resist. Below are twelve of my favorite bold, stylish and eye-catching must-haves for summer 2015.

13 Ways To Rock Curly Hair For Summer 2015

I have always been obsessed with curly hair. I love the fullness, the bounce, and the youthful exuberance that it exudes. If you are blessed with naturally curly hair don't fight it. Let your natural curls fall freely wherever they may go. This summer with all of the heat and humidity it is best not to damage it by trying to apply any type of heat, and co-washing is a must instead of regular shampoos. Last but not least make sure to keep your ends hydrated on a regular basis (I love grapeseed oil for hydration).

Birds of Paradise

Finally we are transitioning out of spring into summer, and I am so excited. Summer is my favorite time of year maybe it is because I'm a summer baby (my birthday is in August). The best part of summer is that we can shake off those coats, jackets, and layers. In my opinion when I think of summer what immediately comes to mind are bright colors and a lot less clothing. So for today's post, I combined the two.

A Cool Breeze

Usually when I'm shopping for a dress, especially if it is not for a formal event, I tend to end up buying one where the hemline is above the knee. So I was surprised when I ran across this striped midi dress from Warehouse and realized that I actually was really feeling it. It had this 1990's vibe that I was digging and I thought it could be a versatile option for work or leisure. I have been majorly obsessed with stripes lately and my sister would probably tease me about that since lately, I haven't been able to pass them up, especially if they are blue and white. Hey at least I am consistent. Lol!

Ale by Alessandra

In the past I haven't been a fan of celebrity fashion lines but I'm feeling the Ale by Alessandra  Guest Bartender collaboration between supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio and BAUBLEBAR. The collection features everything from festival favorites to evening accessories that are downright angelic. My favorites were the statement necklaces with global influences, intricate metalwork, and sultry silhouettes.
