In Honor of the Pantone Color of the Year - My Top Faves in Emerald Green

Pantone's color of the year for 2013 was emerald green. Pantone describes it as, " Lively. Radiant. Lush... A color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of  well-being, balance, and harmony." I couldn't agree more. So in honor of the color of the year, I present my top 6 faves in emerald green.

Spring Break Style - My Top Board Shorts

Q:I'm looking for some new board shorts for spring break, but I only have $50.00 to spend. Can you recommend any that are cute, functional, and affordable?

 - Destiny W.

A:Hi Destiny, I found a few that was around your price range. The DVF board shorts are a little bit above your budget, but I think they still can work for you.

Spring Beauty - Flirty Fuchsia Lips

This look is ultra feminine and pops beautifully against any skin tone.
Apply the lip products with your finger for a more natural finish. It also helps tone down the color for the day, and if you are not afraid to add more just keep dabbing it on to build up the color intensity.
I prefer a matte lipstick or stain that has a bit of a balmy finish. It keeps lips looking supple and moisturized.
Here are a few of my fave fuchsia lip products to try.

Easter Chic Accessories - Inspiration From the Spring 2013 Runway Collections

Granted most of us can not afford our favorite things straight off the designer runways, but I have always used them for inspiration when sprucing up my wardrobe. One of the big trends from the Spring 2013 Collections was pastels. When I first saw these candy coated confections I thought that they would be perfect for Easter. I can totally see myself rocking the lilac Aquazarra heels to Easter service, or the chic Chanel bag to a family gathering for Easter, and in my dreams I would hunt for Easter eggs in those fabulous Nicholas Kirkwood platforms.
In reality, when I am not indulging in my fashion flights of fancy, I will be using these 14 designer pieces as inspiration while perusing my local shops and fave websites.
