My Favorite Finds For Fall From Ben Sherman

Ben Sherman is a brand that has been around for over five decades and is still going strong. Their first designs evolved around the classic American Ivy League shirt and grew from there. The brand is most famous for their shirts but has expanded the line over the years to include outerwear, shoes, accessories, and other fashionable items for the modern man at very affordable prices but with a high-end aesthetic. Ben Sherman effortlessly blends fine tailoring with sharp, casual, sporty styles.
Check out some of my favorite offerings from the brand below.

Polka Dot Power

Polka dots ... you either love them or hate them. Me personally, I like them. The print is fun and playful. I always wear them when I am in a flirty mood. Something about the print just brings me joy and I don't even care about the size and scale of the print. Big or small I will wear them all.
Now some may have a hard time imagining this print can be cool or edgy, but I beg to differ. For instance, the polka dot blazer that I am featuring today can be worn with slacks as a pants suit or stylishly layered over a dress. I liked how the jacket also has a sexy back cut out and has a tie feature. It has a cool girl element to the design and balances out the print nicely. So you could even wear the jacket out on date night without a top and still look chic.
How do you rock polka dots?

Exude Glamour And Luxury With Kathy Kuo's Hollywood Regency Collection

Hollywood Regency is a design style that first became popular during the "Golden Era" of Hollywood (1920-1950). The style is most known for the use of bold colors, breathtaking prints, and metallic and glass accents. Every detail is meant to convey luxury and is accentuated with glitz and glam. In the last decade or so it has had quite a resurgence in popularity and I am loving it. I adore the gilded elegance and sophistication that the style exudes that is why I was drawn to Kathy Kuo's Hollywood Regency Collection that captures the essence of the style perfectly.

What I like most about Kathy Kuo's offerings is that it makes it easier to incorporate the style into your current decor by adding pieces that pack a style punch. The style is meant to be overdone, extravagant, yet sleek and modern. No wonder I am attracted to this design style because those are the same adjectives that can be used to describe me and my personality.

A Touch Of Green

If you have been wanting to add a twist to your basic daily makeup routine then today's post is perfect for you. I know I get tired of doing the same quick makeup routine every day and sometimes I need to try something different to keep myself from getting bored. I generally prefer to use a muted natural color palette for my daily routine (which usually consist of variations of brown, copper, and bronze), but today I wanted to add a tiny bit of color to brighten up my face. I decided the perfect color to add to my look would be the color green because it complements warm neutral tones and it is not too intense or overwhelming (as you can see below).

Since this is a daytime beauty look I opted to only use the color green in small doses. I applied my foundation and set it with powder as I usually do and then decided to focus on my eyes. I thought the green would look best used in that area only. I had purchased the NYX eyeshadow trio in Tropical/Yellow/Lime Green but had never used …

A Room With A View

Oh my goodness, I was immediately filled with wonderment and joy when I laid eyes on this modern home with a very unique view and original design. I was scrolling through Tumblr when I came upon this image and was just totally blown away (unfortunately I could not find any information on the architect/designer). I fell in love with the concept of this irregularly shaped window that had the most enchanting view of this little garden. This is a whole new spin on the concept of having a room with a view. This is the perfect solution for a plot of land that does not have an appealing view and I could see this idea working for different styles of homes just tweak the design to fit the desired aesthetic.
I was so smitten with this room and its features that I was inspired to style a room featuring some of the same design elements. The main design points that I wanted to incorporate into the furnishings and decor were glass, wood, greenery, and warm earth tones. They are the perfect combinat…

Shoespie Has the Perfect Shoes To Rock During The Summer To Fall Transition

Today I am collaborating with to showcase some of my favorite shoes to rock while we transition from summer to fall.
First, let me tell you a little bit about the company. is a website with a huge selection of shoes (sandals, heels, boots, booties, and etc.) that they offer at discounted prices. They showcase the latest trends and have hundreds of offerings to choose from and they also ship internationally. What I like most is that you have the option of using your credit card or Paypal for payment so the checkout process is secure and easy. Plus, they offer free shipping for all orders over $79.
I must say when I was perusing their items and trying to figure out what my favorite picks are I was surprised by how many Instagram ready shoes I saw. Trying to figure out what I mean? Basically, their selection is so on trend that I could see a lot of fashionistas instantly sharing their purchases from to Instagram and other social media platforms becau…

What's In My Closet - My Favorite Vintage Jewelry (Necklace and Bracelet)

Hello lovelies, today I am going to share with you some of my favorite vintage jewelry pieces that I own. As you may already know I love costume jewelry but what I love even more is vintage costume jewelry. For some reason, it always seems as if vintage jewelry has the best stones. Plus it usually has more character and better design, but that is just my opinion.
The two pieces that I am showcasing today are both gold and feature similar cabochon stones in a deep jade color.

Wow! Just looking at the images of my fave jewels is making me want to go back out and buy them all over again, but seriously, they are beautiful pieces and I'm glad I made the investment and decision to collect them.
Because they are vintage I do not get to wear them as much as I want to. I want to ensure that they hold up over time so I only wear them on special occasions.

The crazy thing is one would assume that I bought both items as a set, but surprise, surprise, I did not. These pieces were bought at sepa…
