Beauty Runway Inspiration - Major Liner
The line starts here...
Kenzo Runway Show |
I first saw this major runway beauty trend featured in images from the Kenzo Fall 2014 Collection. It is a bolder version of the classic cat-eye look and takes a teensy bit of practice to achieve.
A slightly tamer version of the major liner trend. |
To achieve the look:
1) Line top and bottom lids with liner, as usual, thickening the top line as you near your eye's outer corner (black and navy work well).
2) Sharpen the pencil; place the tip at the outer corner of your eye and flick your wrist up toward your temple. Or make like a pro and use a skinny brush and gel liner to extend the streak out.
3) Create a line as thin or thick as you want, then set it with a dusting of face powder or eyeshadow. Don't sweat it if you make a mistake: just clean up the line with a cotton swab dipped in eye makeup remover.
