Chic In The City - Caroline Constas Off The Shoulder Bustier Top

When we are dealing with sweltering heat sometimes it is an unsurmountable task to try to look chic and put together. The two major issues during this type of weather are dealing with sweat spots and wrinkling, and even though we can't prevent the inevitable we can still look good trying despite the obstacles we face enduring the heat. That is why I like jeans because you can pair them with anything and still look put together and they usually stay wrinkle free during the day. There are so many lightweight options available during this time of year it is so easy to scoop up a few pairs at an affordable price point and style a pretty outfit around them. Another option for looking good during a warm sunny day is to rock the omnipresent off the shoulder trend that has been dominating fashion for the past few seasons. There are so many options to choose from depending on your style vibe you can rock a halter style, a one shoulder strap stunner, or a go a bit wild (lol) and bare both shoulders. So, in today's outfit of the day, I paired a Caroline Constas off the shoulder bustier top with a pair of distressed AG jeans. I added a few fabulous accessories to pull the look together, and most importantly, I kept the makeup to a bare minimum. Why bother putting together a marvelous outfit just to have it ruined by streaky, oxidized, melting makeup. During warm weather, it is best to stick to the basics, a bit of foundation/concealer, eyeliner, nail polish (to keep your toes looking cute while rocking sandals), and a nude lipstick to show off that tan you have been acquiring all summer.
