Fabulous Fashion Finds With Rachel Zoe's Box Of Style (Review)

Okay, Ladies, it is time for an update about the products I received from the Rachel Zoe team and their subscription service Box Of Style. If you are a regular reader then you have read about my unboxing (here) and how excited I was to be trying the products courtesy of the brand. Even though I was given the products for free I will be giving my objective opinion of the pros and cons of each item. Also, for all of my readers that was wondering if the service is available outside of the United States, I am happy to announce that the box is available in Canada, Australia, and the U.K. too.

First up is the Lili Claspe Rope The Moon Lariat and the Jen Atkin x Chloe Headwrap/Choker. Even though I do not wear necklaces as much as I do other jewelry the Rope The Moon Lariat was a nice change. I like that you can choose between silver or gold with this subscription service and that the lariat was delicate but still eye-catching. It was just dainty enough to suit my taste with design details that appealed to my whimsical side. The lariat has two clasp options so you can adjust the fit to be a bit looser if you prefer. I wore it on the innermost clasp and was satisfied with the fit and was able to wear the necklace with ease throughout the day. Since I personally do not wear chokers because they make me look like a balloon/lollipop. I have a round face/big head and small neck. It is just not a flattering look for me so I chose to wear the Jen Atkin x Chloe Headwrap/Choker as a headwrap. I wear a lot of headbands anyway to keep my hair off of my face so it worked out perfectly. I like the jeweled details. They were not too ostentatious and can work with a lot of looks. You can dress it up and down. It added a bit of glitz and sparkle to my outfit and I can never have too much of that. Since I have a bigger head I wrapped it around once, tied it and let the rest of the length hang loosely. 

Next up was the Rachel Zoe Collection Palm Print Duster. As I mentioned in my previous post (here) I just adored the palm print that she used for the tissue paper that the items came wrapped in and on the duster. Plus it matched with the theme of my blog too. Lol! The duster is constructed well and has a string tie near the chest area if you want to close it a bit but keep in mind you will not be able to close it entirely it is a true duster and not a wrap. So if you have a bigger than average chest like me it may not close comfortably. The duster is one size fits all and I always wonder why designers chose to offer a product like that because let's be real honest it never fits the majority of sizes so you are guaranteed to leave some of your customer base disappointed. I think this duster is better suited for a more petite or lanky frame. I also did not like that it has a very straight up and down cut so if you have curves or have an hourglass figure it may not be the most flattering. I would most likely use it as a coverup over a swimsuit instead of casual wear. That way I can keep it open and not worry about my lines.

The last product that I am reviewing today is the Bonnie Clyde The Hill Sunglasses. I have been digging the clear frames trend so this was an easy way to rock the look. I like that it had a soft rose tint that is flattering for a variety of skin tones. I hardly wear round sunglasses because I have a round full face and a big head as I stated earlier so that is usually a styling no-no unless I find a miracle pair that works for me. Were they my miracle sunglasses? Not so much. I usually prefer aviators so this was an interesting change. Objectively this pair of sunglasses is really cute and I would recommend it for another type of face shape. I looked okay in them but I wasn't feeling them like that to add to my regular rotation. I might rock them once in a blue moon but not on the regular. I will say they are made to be durable and are sturdy.
