According to historical references tie-dye has been around for centuries but came into prominence in the United States during the mid-1960s. The tie-dye effect is usually achieved by twisting, pleating, folding, and crumpling fabric and bonding with string or rubber bands, followed by the dying process. Usually, this technique is achieved by using bright and colorful dyes but you can use any color you want to create this chill pattern. After its rise in the 1960s -1970s the look became a bit cliche and passe but this season it is having a huge resurgence in popularity in the fashion world. Like all things in fashion what is old is new again and tie-dye is perfect for spring and summer. It just gives off major cool vibes.
