Cursive Kind Of Gal (OOTD)

In the last decade, penmanship and cursive handwriting have been deemed useless because we are living in the computer age, and apparently, a lot of people prefer texting and email over a beautiful handwritten script. Which I wholeheartedly disagree with because I think it is still a useful tool to have in your arsenal. I think it helps keep your mind sharp and it is a great way to learn how to spell better. I tend to find that spelling and grammatical errors increase because of our reliance on computerized spell-check and our propensity to abbreviate everything and use text shorthand which does not translate well in the real-world workplace. Every chance I get I try to write as much in cursive as I can to keep my mind and comprehension skills sharp but I also understand that culture is shifting in another direction so I have found a happy medium. Since I adore how unique each person's cursive handwriting is and how artistic and beautiful it can be I thought it would be cool to showcase a dress with a cursive print. This particular dress by Rhodes caught my eye as soon as I saw it and it stood out even more because of the big bold black script showcased against a white background. It was just so cute that I styled an outfit around it as you can see below.
