Winter Brights (Inspired By Notorious B.I.G)

Today's set is inspired by one of my favorite artist the Notorious B.I.G. When I was in high school during the late 90s he was one of the main rappers I listened to along with 2Pac but out of the two Biggie was the one I was drawn to the most during my teenage years.

I loved his rhymes and his flow was ridiculous and every time I hear a song by him I automatically get in a festive mood. His music just brings back so many great memories and he is part of the soundtrack of my life.

When I was in high school one of the biggest trends that Biggie made popular was rocking a bright and colorful Coogi sweater. Everyone wanted one but Coogi was a high-end brand and the sweater cost around $500 back then so at that time it was most definitely out of my reach. So, I was pleasantly surprised recently when I saw this Alice + Olivia Sweater that referenced the iconic sweater. Seeing it brought all of those memories back so I decided to style a fashion set around it.
