Elegance With A Dash of Daring - Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2014
Monique Lhuillier has always been the go-to designer for red-carpet-ready evening gowns. For her Pre-Fall 2014 Collection, she also added more separates and cocktail attire to her usual assortment of feminine evening wear. This season her collection was a bit more streamlined and urban. She also showcased her talent for tailoring and intricate lacework.
Monique Lhuillier is known for her gorgeous dresses, and I wanted to create a set featuring one of her gowns that I have been obsessed with. I'm a sucker for a backless dress, and this one caught my eye because of the sheer intricate lace detailing. The craftsmanship is outstanding! I accessorized the Monique Lhuillier gown with Morganite Oval Fao Earrings, a Nina Ricci Clutch, and Schutz Adeline Strappy Metallic Sandals.
