If you are invited to any holiday party or festivities it is polite and thoughtful to bring a gift for your host. Think about it for a minute ... they have taken the time to make sure you have an enjoyable time in their home while providing you with a relaxing atmosphere, food, and drinks. After you leave their hosting duties are still not over as they wrap up leftovers and clean up their home. After all of that the least we can do is present them with a little treat for all of their efforts. Most people tend to stick with classic hosting gifts such as candles, a bottle of wine/liquor, or flowers. Those type of gifts are nice and are classics for a reason (they work for all personality types) but receiving the same kind of gift one too many times can leave the receiver feeling underwhelmed. There is a famous saying " well its the thought that counts" but that is not always true. I think mindfulness matters more than a thought. You should not only bring a gift but tailor it to your host needs, lifestyle, and personality. So, today I am presenting a holiday gift guide for your host/hostess that showcases some fun finds that are interesting and creative.
