A Room With A View
Oh my goodness, I was immediately filled with wonderment and joy when I laid eyes on this modern home with a very unique view and original design. I was scrolling through Tumblr when I came upon this image and was just totally blown away (unfortunately I could not find any information on the architect/designer). I fell in love with the concept of this irregularly shaped window that had the most enchanting view of this little garden. This is a whole new spin on the concept of having a room with a view. This is the perfect solution for a plot of land that does not have an appealing view and I could see this idea working for different styles of homes just tweak the design to fit the desired aesthetic.
I was so smitten with this room and its features that I was inspired to style a room featuring some of the same design elements. The main design points that I wanted to incorporate into the furnishings and decor were glass, wood, greenery, and warm earth tones. They are the perfect combination of elements to relax in an inviting but minimal atmosphere.
