Style Inspiration - The Nineties
Today we are taking it back to the nineties for the outfit of the day. The nineties is one of my favorite style decades and it is probably because I graduated in the late nineties and just legally became an adult right before the new millennium started. During that time I was starting to figure out my personal style and finally had the freedom to dress how I wanted without anyone dictating to me what I could and could not wear. When I think about that time I realize that I was kind of lucky to come of age during a decade that had some marvelous style moments that still endure and have lasted the test of time. Some of my favorite designs from the time were the slip dress, crop tops, bodycon dresses, color blocking, stack heels, and mules. Today's outfit of the day showcases some of those styles but with a modern take.
