Today I am happy to present the second painting in my Abstraction Series. I decided to call it " Blue Beauty Beckons" because a little secret is buried in this painting.

I initially started this painting in 2006 and stopped working on it during that same year. I revisited the painting a few weeks ago and made a lot of drastic changes. At first, the painting wasn't as abstract and it was all variations of blue. I did keep some small elements of the original painting but most of it is reworked. It is always a fun, adventurous, and frustrating endeavor when you are reimagining a painting but I always enjoy the process while trying not to pull out my hair. Lol!
