Image Has The Black & White Trend Covered - My 5 Faves for August

If you love to rock the black and white trend then has you covered. There's a reason this combo is a classic: it's ultra-chic and modern. Check out the five faves below that just got added to my fall wish list.

The Home Advantage - My 5 August Faves For A Distressed & Charming Home

As we enter into fall, I like to freshen up my home with pieces that add color, and warmth. I love to create a cozy nest with artfully distressed treasures that are distinctive, and charming. Below are my five faves that shows off my love for well-worn and quirky objects.
Rhett Color Globes, Asst. of 3 - $39.00 A colorful twist on a desktop classic, this trio of antique-inspired globes bring distinctive dimension to a collection.
Subway Signs, Asst. of 3 - $189.00 From the coast-to-coast and overseas, this trio of station-inspired signs lends a traveled look.
Macaire Keys, Asst. of 4 - $20.00 A rainbow of wrought iron keys makes a playful addition to a decorative arrangement.
Numbered Tin Buckets, Asst. of 4 - $89.00 Designers know that the easiest way to make a major impact is to group several similar objects together. Each of these four artfully distressed tin buckets is charming on its own, but when arranged together, they're truly eye-catching.
Braxton Metal Clock, Asst. of 3 - $50…

Transitioning Into Fall - The Tribal Aztec Trend ( 9 Must Haves)

Look For Less: DVF Radcliff Bootie vs Pour la Victoire Marcelle Bootie

I love my leopard print, but in small doses. I tend to incorporate most animal prints into my wardrobe through shoes and accessories. So, I was excited to see these sharp DVF Radcliff Lace Up Haircalf Booties. I thought that they would be so fierce to rock while transitioning into fall, and with a sexy side zip they are so easy to slip in and out of.

If you love the style of the DVF Radcliff Bootie, but not the price tag of $525.00, I found a similar look for almost half the price. The Pour la Victoire Marcelle Bootie has a price tag of $275.00, and has the same feel of the DVF Radcliff  but with a thicker heel.  Which style do you prefer?

When Art and Fashion Collide - Claude Monet

This set was inspired by a painting in Claude Monet's Water Lilies Series. I wanted the final look to capture the serene and colorful qualities of the painting. I found this Izabel London dress that mimicked the painting's dark background highlighted with vibrant colors.  Whenever I look at this work of art, the blues and pops of pink always captures my eye. So I decided to use those colors in the accessories that I paired with the dress. Fashion inspiration can strike at any time. I try to roll with it and see where it takes me. Today, it's art. Tomorrow, who knows?

Be Inspired By Your Beautiful Imagination

I love to create sets where I can showcase how to be fashion forward and feminine. I think you should always be able to take an item that is cutting edge and gracefully incorporate it into your wardrobe while still being true to your aesthetic. For me, that means always keeping my feminine edge as showcased below. I styled this set around this beautiful Markus Lupfer Watecolor Viviene Dress. Abstracted prints have been all over the runways for the past couple of seasons, and I was obsessed with this gorgeous frock because it reminded me of an impressionist painting. By pairing it with a braided updo, geode drop earrings, strappy heels, and a color-block clutch it kept it feminine and flirty in the most appealing way.
