Rachel Roy - My 3 Faves From Resort 2014
I'm usually not a fan of loose-fitting cropped jackets because they are unflattering on anyone who has an ample chest or is heavier on top, but somehow this one appeals to me. So just looking at it from a fashion standpoint I love the color combo and detailing on the sleeves. This look is best for petite women or anyone who has a short torso ( except if you are over a c cup). Just remember to balance out the silhouette with something slimmer on the bottom.
There is a way to wear leopard print without looking like Peg Bundy from the old TV show "Married With Children" and Rachel Roy is showing us how in this sophisticated sheath. While it may not be appropriate for most work environments it is a sexy and chic alternative for a date night or dinner party.
The cut of this midi dress could come off as a little too demure if not for the alluring slit in front. It modernizes the dress along with the graphic abstract print. The abstract print is what initially drew me to the dress, and because of the large scale, it might not have worked if it was used in a brighter color palette. Rachel Roy found the right balance to show off this striking dress.
