Poetry In Petals OOTD

Today I am taking it back to my teenage years growing up in the 1990s . The time of the original Beverly Hills 90210, Nirvana, New Jack Swing and the birth of casual chic. We were the generation that had an  anti-conformist approach towards fashion. Which usually meant we were running around in crop tops, t-shirts, jeans, biker jackets, hoodies and trainers. Sometimes I forget how long ago that time was until recently when all of the popular fashions from my youth started popping up all over the runways again. I realized I am old enough now to start seeing these trends recycled over and over again. Now they say if you are old enough to wear it the first time around you are too old to wear it again, but I do not follow rules that well so I say if you add a modern twist to it go ahead and rock it. Who cares what other people think as long as you feel good in it.

    1. They are a bit pricey. A printed denim at a lower price point will work just as well.

  3. I don't feel too old to wear all that, even though I have been there the first time too. I didn't care then, I don't care now.

  9. This jeans are interesting. Ripped then a flower laid over the torn material...? I doubt I will ever fully understand the fashion industry...

However I love the olive green and burgundy combination. That's a great choice LaToya and the handbag matches perfectly too...
