The Colors Of Summer

" Summer, summer, summertime ... ", man I love that song by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince (Will Smith for the younguns) during this time of the year when the sun is shining and the temperature is rising. Summer is the only season of the year that I truly love. I especially love seeing everyone shedding their neutrals and rocking bright and colorful clothing. I tend to wear bright colors all year round but for some reason when it starts to get really warm outside people shake off their inhibitions and start wearing vibrant hues that make me smile.

Today's outfit of the day perfectly captures what I am talking about. I was able to fit in quite a few colors by showcasing a maxi dress that featured a color block design. Since it is hot where I live I made sure to include some sun protection with a cute straw hat, sunnies, and sandals. I kept the makeup light and subtle with a neutral pink lip gloss and an ombre blush.
