Art Decorating Tip : Brushstrokes and Grounding Colors Will Elevate Neutrals

Art Decorating Tip

If you love to decorate your home in neutral colors but still feel like your room is missing something special today's post is perfect for you! As an artist,  I always feel like a room is not complete without eye-catching artwork adorning the walls. It is the perfect finishing touch. One of the questions I get asked the most is how to decorate with art if you're not into a lot of color.

If you tend to decorate your home in grey, beige, and white, an easy way to introduce some color into your space is to choose complementary grounding colors.  Grounding colors are hues that can naturally be found in nature like: sky blue, forest green, and burnt orange. Grounding tones are rich and vibrant without being overpowering. They are the perfect colors to elevate a neutral space. As an example, I am featuring my painting Mass Hysteria which showcases a grounding color palette 🎨.  Hanging this on your wall will take your favorite room from boring and basic to a place that you can be proud to show off. A good piece of art speaks to you and your sensibilities and is a wonderful way for you to showcase your taste and personality.
