September Popsugar Must Have Box

Hello my fabulous fashionistas! Today I'm collaborating with Popsugar to talk to you about their September Must Have Box. If you recall I did a lovely collaboration a couple of month's ago when I received my first box to review (you can read it here). This month's box has some items that I was really impressed by. I actually like this box better than the first one I received. So far I have been able to test out some of the products and others I will be reviewing at a later date.

I was super excited to test out this month's Must Have Box!

Some of the glam beauty products and grooming items featured in September's Popsugar Must Have Box.

NCLA Mani-ER Tool Kit: This is easy and portable and works in a nail emergency. Especially if you are prone to hangnails like me. They drive me crazy so this portable kit will work in a pinch.

Jack & Lucy Bicoastal Wide Brim Hat: I mean who doesn't love a wide brim hat? They work with a ton of different styles from bohemian to rocker chic. Plus I know I need a cute option when I'm having a bad hair day. A hat automatically makes you look pulled together and is the perfect finishing touch. Plus this one has an adjustable string inside so you can fit it to your head .

Smith & Cult Lip Lacquer In The Warning: This red lip gloss contains gold microshimmer, and is paraben and gluten free. I didn't even know that lip products even contained gluten so I do not know if this was a marketing gimmick or a real cause for concern. Plus I have not worn shimmer or a glossy lip lacquer in over 15 years, as you know I'm more partial to matte lipsticks. I did love the color after getting used to the glossy sheen and it is perfect for the fall/winter months because of it's thicker consistency. I must warn you that if you prefer a more opaque lip color this may not be for you because the color is more sheer. This ultimately ended up being my second favorite item out of this month's box.

The Gluten Free Bites (Dark Chocolate Coconut): These vegan free bites are made without GMOs or dairy. Plus they are high in protein. I have an extreme sweet tooth so I am very particular about my treats. I was kind of leery because I am also very particular about texture. I assumed that these would probably taste gross since it had a lot of healthy ingredients. I must admit these were not what I expected. They were actually okay. I would be raving about them but I'm not a huge fan of dark chocolate but the coconut did add some much needed sweetness to them.

Flint Retractable Lint Roller: This is one of those items you always need but never think of purchasing it until you need it, which is usually too late to come in handy. The coolest part about this product is that is retractable so your lint papers stay intact and it is easy to transport. Bonus it is refillable and comes with 30 sheets.

Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask: When I first saw this item I was super psyched because this conditioning mask would not disrupt my regular hair routine. I tend to only use natural and organic products on my hair that does not contain chemicals, sulfates, silicone, or parabens. So this seemed like a good product to review first. Then I immediately noticed the price that it retails for and my first thought was literally what the f*ck at $36 this sh*t better work. Thank goodness it did! First of all I loved the ingredient list. It featured avocado, argan oil, rosehip oil, collagen, and silk. It also works in only 5 minutes but you can also try the extra deep conditioning method by applying it, putting on a plastic cap, and sitting under the dryer for twenty minutes. I chose the latter and my hair has never felt so soft and manageable. I am still hesitant on the price because it is too pricey to be part of my daily routine, but if you want to treat yourself or are suffering from extreme hair damage this would be worth the splurge.  I guess the best part of a subscription program is that you get to try out full sized items at a fraction of the cost. This was most definitely my favorite item out of this month's box. I would give it a A+++++!

  5. Such a great review of the products you received, beauty! I love when hats have adjustable strings in them because I have a little peanut head and have such a hard time finding ones that don't suck my whole head in, hahaha. I, too, prefer using only all natural, organic products on both my skin and hair, this hair mask sounds wonderful, I'll have to check it out! Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a great weekend ahead!

    1. I have the opposite problem I have a big head and most times hats do not fit unless they have some stretch like a beanie.

  6. I've not tried this, but from the bloggers that I've seen who have, this sounds like a lovely subscription. The only subscription boxes I purchase currently are foodie boxes, but I am thinking of trying a few beauty boxes. Wish all brands would just do worldwide offerings. Happy Friday! <3

  7. Your reaction when you saw the hair mask's price made me LOL, LaToya! Haha! It's a very good brand, I personally never tried it but I know many love it. Do you think it'll weigh down thin, fine hair?
