Funky Fresh Fun

Okay take a deep breath .... I know this outfit will be very polarizing, but I don't really care about the varied reactions I will receive about this look because it was styled just for the hell of it. Are you still scratching your head trying to figure out what is going on here? Okay let me break it down for you. Some times I get in the mood to style something totally fun, festive and outside of the norm. It is basically a fantasy look that only a few fearless souls would be brave enough to wear, but in order to keep my creative juices flowing I have to be able to throw a few crazy outfits in the mix to shake things up a bit otherwise I would be bored out of my mind. At the end of the day even I get tired of seeing everyone wearing the same must have items geared towards the masses or seeing people rocking the same muted palette over and over again. So occasionally I need an outfit that is cheerful and exciting to keep me interested. If your a fan of street style blogs this outfit will be pretty tame and you are probably used to seeing edgy and eccentric ensembles so you will probably not be put off by it's funky fun vibe. If you do not follow runway shows or street style blogs I hope this outfit will inspire you to consider different ways you can add statement pieces into your wardrobe. Hopefully I will nudge you out of your comfort zone and encourage you to look at fashion in a whole new way.

  4. It's really cool to see something different and after all to be unique and not just someone's copy. Awesome pieces! I'm not sure if I would wear them together but I would definitely give them a try separately ;)

  8. I won't be able to pull off the jeans but I can totally see myself in everything else! And who cares if the outfit is OTT, sometimes you just need to break the rules.

  9. I LOVE this look, girlie! That shirt especially, I mean how cool is it, and I love how you've paired it with those fun jeans! I truly appreciate looks that are unique and just bold, which is why I'm a huge fan of Chiara Ferragini (I could totally envision her in this look!). I love to personally experiment with a variety of styles, which is why I don't believe I have a definitive style, though I do tend to add in more edgier pieces. Thanks so much for the inspiration, beautiful, and I hope you're having the best week so far!

    1. I'm the same way Jalisa. I do not think I could define my style either because it is an eclectic mix of items. I do not adhere to any particular style motto except for rock what I feel like rocking that day. Some people can really work a personal daily uniform and look fantastic but that would be too regimented for me. My style has no boundaries.

  11. I think it's such a fun look! You know that I'm more a minimalist but it doesn't mean that I can't appreciate fun and funky looks too (I just can't wear them because I feel it attracts too much attention on me).

    1. I can understand where you are coming from Aurelie. My sister is a minimalist and I adore her style because it vibes with her personality and is a true representation of her. By the way are you an introvert?

  14. Girl you now I'd be one of those fearless souls that will rock this in a blink of an eye. I'm far from a minimalist and love fun, different and daring looks sometimes. This is great.

    1. At first when I first saw the jeans I passed them up because on their own they reminded me of what a cowboy would wear at the rodeo but then I ran across the top and clutch and thought that they could work well together.
