Street Style Chic - How I Would Style A White T-Shirt

If you have been a long time reader of my blog you may have noticed I hardly feature white clothing. Why? Basically because I am a klutz and I can never keep anything clean. Somehow I always manage to spill something on myself. The last time I bought a piece of clothing that was white I was in high school and I owned some white shorts and I ruined them because I was clueless. I used to let them soak in pure bleach to keep them clean. To make a long story short they ended up disintegrating right in front of my eyes. I must have been traumatized by the event because I never tried to purchase anything in that shade again, but with the temperatures being so hot in the Midwest this weekend (95-100 degrees) I'm starting to regret not having anything white in my closet. I'm actually looking at other women in envy floating around like little angels staying perfectly cool in the hue. How the f*ck do they manage to stay so clean and pristine when rocking such an unforgiving color? After noticing the color white everywhere I started to browse online. I figured the easiest way to pull off white is to start with a basic white t-shirt. You can dress it up & down, and it basically goes with everything. Since I am not the kind of woman who would wear all white I would most likely pair it with one of my favorite staples in my closet which is something with stripes on it like the example below.
